Bobbie Nell Evans Kordie, 84, of Orange, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

The Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, Aug. 24, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Price, and Dr. Bob Webb. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Born in Bastrop, La., on May 9, 1930, Bobbie is the daughter of Ray C. Evans and Hattie Mae (Freeman) Evans. Bobbie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in Shrine activities alongside her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray C. and Hattie Mae Evans; husband of 63 years, Marco Kordie; and her brother, Wayne Evans.

Bobbie is survived by sons, Mark and his wife, Susan Kordie of Orange, Brian and his wife, Rima Kordie of Katy; daughter, Karen Kordie of Houston; grandchildren, Jason Kordie, Jarred and his wife, Kendra Kordie, Jeremy Kordie, Josh Kordie, Aaron Livingston, Kristen Kordie, and Sara Kordie; sisters, Eva Driver and husband, Morgan, Virginia Ross and husband, Buddy, Erie Marks and husband, Wally, and Rita Harrison and husband, Marvin, all of Mobile, Alabama, and Ouida Thomas and husband, Charles of Orange; brothers, James Evans and wife, Jean, Don Evans and wife, Delores both of Mobile, Al., and William C. Evans and wife, Lois of Arkansas; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of El Mina Shrine.
