Nine people were arrested in Bridge City, and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police served a search warrant Monday at a home at 160 Roberts and Kelsey Ln., and arrested Chad Hancock, 22, Angela Romero, 46, Michael Barulich, 32, Kansas Branshaw, 34, all of Bridge City; Cody Breaux, 30, Carl James LeBlanc, 35, Jordan Bernard, 22, and Charles Kibodeaux, 42, all of Orange, and Raymond Kendzierski, 34, of Nederland.

Kibodeaux, and Kendzierski, were also charged with evading detention, after trying to run from police.

Kendzierski and Breaux also had outstanding warrants.
