Keith Peyton Atkins, 52, of Orange, died Monday, Sept. 29, at his home.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation will follow under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.

Born in Orange, Oct. 10, 1961, Keith was the son of Gene Atkins and Dorsey Duhon Savoie. He worked as a planner and electrician.

He was preceded in death by his son, Hunter William Atkins; and brother, Chuck Atkins.

Keith is survived by his wife, Brooke Danell Bass Atkins; mother, Dorsey Duhon Savoie and husband Bob; father, Gene Atkins and wife Joyce; daughter, Candace Dianne Brown and husband John; sons, Jacob Peyton and Colton Lee Atkins; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Phyliss Nazworth and husband John; and nephews, Chris Nazworth and wife Candace, and Josh Nazworth.
