WOSMS, 7th grade teams victorious

WOSMS hosted Liberty for homecoming and came away 2-0. The 7th grade team won 46-6.

Jackson Tims lead the offense rushing for one TD, passing to Da'vion Riggs for another and connecting with Keontae Strother, Tyrone Wilson and Nicholas Provost each for a 2-point conversion. Wilbert Ned scored a rushing TD and Ja'Marcus Ross connected with WIlson for a TD. Hykiem Taylor and Strother each recovered fumbles and ran them back for touchdowns then added 2-point conversions. Zyon Moore and Riggs each recovered fumbles to help lead the defense.

The 8th grade team posted their 3rd shutout of the year winning 32-0. Brettlin Wiley connected with Renaldo Rose on the first offensive play of the game for a touchdown. Wiley rushed for a second TD and connected with Justin Sibley for a 2-point conversion. Sibley would rush for two more conversions later in the game. Ja'vonn Ross rushed for TD and 2-point conversion to round out the offense. The Stallion defense was dominant all night creating four turnovers and blocking a punt. Teshaun Teel had a pick 6 to go along with another interception from Sibley. Ker'Vondrick Scott and Wiley each recovered fumbles and Terron Brown blocked a punt.

The 7th grade team will host Orangefield on Tuesday and the 8th grade will travel to Orangefield Thursday along with the combined B team.
