Portion of Big Sandy Creek to close temporarily

Big Thicket National Preserve announced Monday, that a portion of the Big Sandy Creek Unit will be temporarily closed for a prescribed burn from Wednesday, Oct. 22, through Saturday, Oct. 25.
The area to be burned lies north of Sunflower Rd., east of Lilly Rd., and south of Hendrix Rd.
