Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School students, James Armstrong, Blake Kresser, and Olivia Keltz will advance to the Regional Cross-Country meet next weekend in Atascocita.

James Armstrong blew away the competition in the 5K district race and brought home the title of district champ. It was the first time in 14 years that a Bridge City runner has not brought home that title.

In the girls division, Olivia Keltz ran a great race and placed Second in the two mile with a time of 13:07, her best time of the year. Blake Kresser fought hard and finished in Ninth place in the 5K and also ran his personal best.
