Community Christian School’s September Teacher of the Month is 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Sharon Monk. When asked about her teaching career, she said: “My career started in 1973 as a Jr. High English teacher at Devers ISD. I have taught, or worked with children at church, for 41 years. Most of my professional teaching has been in Christian schools; Cathedral in the Pines, East Texas Christian School, Trinity Christian Academy, and now CCS. Mrs. Stewart hired me on Tuesday of In-Service in August 2007. This is my eighth year teaching HIS children at CCS. To God Be the Glory….Great Things he Has Done.”
