Robert Garrett, Sr., 57, of Beaumont died Monday, Oct. 27, at his residence.

A native of Port Arthur, he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Beaumont. Robert worked at Exxon Mobil for 31 years where he retired as a Supervisor. His true love was brick mason and collecting.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, Oct. 30, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by his wife of two years Becky Garrett of Beaumont; sons Robby Garrett of Little Cypress, and Randall Garrett of Vidor; daughter Rachelle Garrett of Vidor; brothers Ricky of Mauriceville, Mike of Vidor, Kevin of Mauriceville, Steven of Vidor, Darryl of Maryland, and two grandchildren.
