Mrs. Stevens’ 1st grade class at Community Christian School now has a class pet. The wonder and joy can hardly be contained by the students. Here is a little poem about Bubbles, the fish in room 106:

Bubbles

There once was a class that wanted a pet

A turtle, a hamster

Anything they could get

When one day their teacher did find

A little blue fish was just the right kind

She got all the things a little fish would need

A home, water and a little fish feed

When the teacher brought the fish in sight

The class cheered with great delight

They voted on a name for their new fish

He would be called Bubbles and live in room 106
