The Orangefield High School Friends of Rachel Club will be hosting a community clothing giveaway at the high school in the High School library, Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Friends of Rachel Club was created by Darrell Scott, Rachel Joy Scott's father, in the wake of the Columbine school tragedy. Rachel was murdered in the shooting. Rachel's family created Rachel's Challenge, a non-profit organization to honor Rachel's memory by spreading the message of kindness and compassion to school campuses across the nation. http://www.rachelschallenge.org/big-picture/about-rachels-challenge/.

The clothes are for all ages and sizes, with an emphasis on children and young adults. The Community Clothing Giveaway is open to all members of the Orangefield Community; all clothes are free.
