WOSMS Stallions back to back champs

The WOSMS Stallions traveled to Hardin Jefferson for their final games of the season. The combined B team started the night winning 22-0. Kalen Gilder rushed for a TD and threw touchdown passes to Jay'zn Robinson and Rasheed Puryear. Gilder and Ja'Coven Hinson each rushed for two point conversions. Roshawn Leday and Labarius Spraggins were the defensive standouts.

The 7th grade team won 27-0 to finish the season a perfect 7-0 and District Champions. Keontae Strother rushed for 2 touchdowns and a two point conversion. Jackson Tims connected with Da'vion Riggs for a TD, Ja'Marcus Ross rushed for one and Myles Craven added an extra point. Defensive standouts were Riggs and William Reynolds.

In the final game the 8th grade team won 48-16 over the Hawks to claim back to back district championships going a perfect 15-0 over the last two seasons. Brettlin Wiley rushed for 2 touchdowns and connected with Deiondr'e Hawthorne for two more. Hawthorne returned a punt for a TD and Ja'Vonn Ross rushed for one. Wiley rushed for 3 two point conversions, Ross rushed for 2 and Jordan Johnson added 1 as well. Defensive standouts were Ross with a fumble recovery, Kavyn Cooper with a blocked punt and Renaldo Rose with an interception to end the game.
