Services for Alice Blanche Dufield Singleton, 98, of Tyler, will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2:00 PM, at Oak Grove Tabernacle Church in Hartburg, with the Rev. James Sellers officiating. Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Mrs. Singleton passed away Monday, Nov. 3, in Tyler.

She was born Oct. 11, 1916 in Little Rock, AR, to Benjamin Franklin and Rosalee Conner Dufield.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond B. Singleton.

She is survived by her loving family including children Joyce Symes and husband Rodney, of Tyler, and Margaret Lavine-Nissen and husband Dale, of Pearland; grandchildren Raymond Lavine and wife Witnie of Beaumont, Susan Bohot and husband Roger of Minneapolis, MN, Rodney Symes, III and wife Crystal of Lancaster, and Yvette Ochoa, of Santa Fe; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister-in-law Irene Dufield, of Owasso, OK.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Oak Grove Tabernacle Church in Hartburg.
