Eula Mae "Granny Peanut" Leleux, 91, of Port Neches, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Cypress Glen in Port Arthur.

She was born Dec. 20, 1922 in Estherwood, La., to Euger Smith and Mary Menard Smith. She was a resident of Starks, for 40 years and a member of the Catholic faith.

Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Leleux, four sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include four daughters, Lucy Hanks and husband Rene of Starks, Bonnie Richard and husband Ansel of Arvada, CO, Joy Boudreaux and husband Roland of Port Arthur, and Mary Crochet and husband Johnny of Port Arthur; one son, Alvin "Mannie" Leleux and wife Sandra of Starks; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, Nov. 8, at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
