LU College of Arts and Sciences presents Literary Festival

The Lamar University College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of English and Modern Languages will host 14 writers from around the country to talk with faculty, staff, students and the community about writing and publishing. The annual Lamar Literary Festival is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, Nov. 13 and 14, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day. The Festival will take place on the sixth floor of the Mary and John Gray Library next to the Center for Teaching and Learning Enhancement.

Topics of discussion during the two-day festival include: The Art and Business of Publishing, How Do You Get Published, How Do You Begin Writing and Why is Creative Writing So Popular.
