LCM holding annual Beary Merry Christmas Market

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc. will host its second annual Beary Merry Christmas Market, Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Little Cypress Elementary, 5723 Meeks Drive.

This year’s event will kick off with breakfast with Santa from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Pre-sold tickets for the limited seating breakfast are being offered for $2. Entry for the Market is $3 for those 12 and above and can be purchased from any LCM Education Foundation Board member or at the LCM Administration Building, 6586 FM 1130.

This year’s Beary Merry Christmas Market will feature vendors from across southeast Texas, performances by student groups, a silent auction, Chinese auction, a sweet shop, where you can pick up holiday baked goods to take home or eat on site, arts and crafts vendors, pictures with Santa, and much more. All Market attendees will be eligible for the door prize, a 32-inch TV donated by Beckett and Beckett.

There are still a few vendor spaces available and those can be secured by contacting Jamia Harris at [email protected] or calling her at 409-988-3515. All proceeds from the Market go to the Foundation’s Grants-to-Educators program. Since the group began giving grants in 2004, it has given 116 grants totaling just under $142,000.
