The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce recognized Jeanie Istre as the School District Employee of the Month for November. Jeannie Istre is West Orange – Stark High School’s Literacy Coach.

Primarily, she assists in the support of teachers. Additionally, she works in the development, alignment, articulation, and evaluation of the curriculum; as well as assisting in the alignment of instructional strategies, resources, assessments and staff development. She is also involved in tutoring senior students before, during, and after school. Mrs. Istre comes early to work and stays late. She serves on multiple student and teacher support committees.
