BC Girls Basketball clinch first in La. tournament

The Bridge City 7th grade girls basketball team recently competed in the WW Lewis Tournament in Sulphur, LA. The girls had an awesome weekend going 5-0 in the tournament and clinching 1st place.
The results of the tourney are as follows - Beat Groves 29 to 2, Oak Park 20 to 2, SJ Welch 19 to 6, WW Lewis 11 to 7, and Moss Bluff 23 to 10; making their record to date 8-1.
Top scorers for totals throughout tourney: Harrison 23, Clark 15, Halliburton 14, Reed 10, Lawrence 10, Daniels 9, Stump 9, Murty 8, Skinner 4
The team played amazing defense the entire tournament. Top defensive players were Reed, Lawrence, Harrison, Molin & Murty.
Coach Wiegreffe is proud of the girls hard work and team play.
