Thursday, Dec. 18, at 10:48 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call from the store clerk at the LCM Food Mart, 8270 N. Hwy. 87 in Little Cypress.

The store clerk reported that the store had just been robbed at gunpoint by two black males wearing masks. It was reported that the suspects entered the store with one suspect displaying a handgun and the other suspect holding a baseball bat. The suspects took money from the register and fled the scene on foot. There was no one injured during the robbery.

Deputies searched the area, but have not been able to locate the suspects. Deputies remained on scene gathering evidence and information from the store clerk.
