January is Board Appreciation Month in Texas, and Little Cypress-Mauriceville students, staff, and the entire community have a lot to be grateful for because of LCM’s School Board. This volunteer group works untold hours to assure the school district runs efficiently and effectively to provide the highest quality of education to the students enrolled in the schools across the District.

To express their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the Board, students from Little Cypress Intermediate created a large banner, with letters of appreciation posted on it and presented it at the Board meeting. Three students, Mariah Ammons, Brice Martin and TJ Segien presented certificates of appreciation to the Board and three other students, Madison Campise, Allie Shaffer, and Camden Smith read their letters of appreciation to the Board.
