Robert "Bobby" Mouton, 65, of Orange, passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange with the Rev. Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with a Vigil service at 7 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Deacon Willie Posey.

Born in Orange on Sept. 6, 1945, Robert was the son of Niran Louis Mouton and Elsie Mouton Freeman. He worked for Equitable Bag and as a Union Carpenter, and was a long time member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and also enjoyed fishing, hunting and carving wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Stoy; and brother, Louis Mouton.

Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lillian Posey Mouton; two daughters, Sharon Kaspar and husband, Earl, and Elaine Daniels and husband, Danny; and son, Kenneth Mouton and wife, Renè, all of Orange.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amberlee and Britney Leblanc, Shellie, Jordan and Allen Daniels; great-grandson, Braylen Childress; brother, Larry Mouton and wife, Connie; uncle, Horace Mouton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Landry, Faron Landry, Danny Daniels, Earl Kaspar, Logan Wilkerson, and Robert Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Mouton, Dale Landry, Neil Wilkerson and Bryan Landry.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Alan Ayers with Compassionate Care Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice or St. Mary's School Foundation, 912 W. Cherry Ave., Orange, Texas 77630.
