Robert Lee “ Bob “ Mouton, Sr., 75, of Orange, passed from this life Thursday, Jan. 15, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Orange.

Born Jan. 26, 1939 in Orange, to his parents, Albert Lee Mouton and Lela Mae (Lee) Mouton, he was a lifelong resident of Orange, he was of the Methodist faith and he owned and operated Mouton Printing Company in Orange from 1974 until 2007. He began his career in the printing business at the age of 17 with the Southern Printers in Orange. Bob was an opinionated man who enjoyed shrimping, fishing, dove hunting, rebuilding antique cars and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, James Speece “Lil Jimmy” Clark; brothers, J. C. Mouton, Sr., Albert J. Mouton and Cloyd Mouton, Sr.; sisters, Betty Jo Davenport and Martha Mae Mouton. Those who will most cherish his memory are his daughters, Tammie Lee Mouton of Vinton, Bonnie Mouton of Orange and Cindy Mouton Graves and husband, Steve of Jasper; sons, Stewart Alan Greer and wife, Angela of Orange and Robert Lee “ Bobby “ Mouton, Jr. and wife Alicia of Orange; sisters Lela Faye Dallas of Austin and Joyce Ann Meads of Orange; grandchildren, Stormy Clark, Brittany Welch Carter, Brandon Welch, Eric Simon, Jody Mouton, Farrell Greer, Sadie Greer, Paige Greer, Kylie Mouton and Azlynn Mouton; 10 great grandchildren, Quest Carmack, Kadyn Carmack, Raven Clark, Carter Hughes, Lane Carter, Talan Mouton, Bryce Mouton, Racen Simon, Kameron Simon and Cody Simon; Bob is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

A memorial service to remember Bob’s life will be at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with Deacon Eddie Blankenstein, officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation was held prior to the services. Bob’s family wishes to thank his dear friend, Emma Prince, the ICU staff at Baptist Hospital in Orange, the nurses and staff of River City Hospice and to his provider, Krystal.
