On Jan. 28, at about 8:30 a.m., Michelle Haydel contacted the Orange Police Department by telephone and disclosed her location. Officers arrived at that location and found Haydel to be unharmed and no longer missing.

The Orange Police Department would like to thank the Orange Fire Department, and the Orange Co. Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this event.



Thursday, Jan. 28,  officers with the Orange Police Department were dispatched to the 6300 block of Steeplechase, in the Little Cypress area off of FM 1130, in reference to a missing person.

Upon arrival, officers met with family members who reported that a white female, identified as, Michelle Renee Haydel 39, was last seen outside the residence by a family member at 9:45 p.m., Jan. 27, taking a walk in the neighborhood. According to a family member, when it was discovered that Haydel had not returned home later in the evening, the family went out searching for her. As of 12:33 a.m., Jan. 28, Haydel had not been located by family members and the Orange Police Department was contacted.

Haydel is a 39 year old white female, 4’11” weighing 90 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a teal long sleeved shirt with the word “pink” written on one of the sleeves, and a pair or UGG slip on shoes.
