The very prestigious Protege Art Contest was recently judged in Beaumont at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas. Twenty-five pieces of the most outstanding artwork from area high school seniors were selected. Hannah Blacketer and Shelby Williams of Orangefield High School were chosen to participate. Their work will be framed and hung in the museum. The opening to the show is February 24 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Beaumont museum. All are invited to see the work from Southeast Texas schools on display.
