Audrey Mae Broussard Fields, 81, passed away at her residence Monday, Feb. 9. A private gathering will take place, at the family's request, at an appointed time.

She was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Orange, to WW1 veteran Justilien John Broussard and Stenie Marie Decuir Broussard. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Benny Fields; brother, Hilton Broussard and sister, Dorothy Guidry.

She is survived by her loving children, George Boudreaux, Dale Boudreaux, Walter Gerlach, Gene Fields, Audrey Prince and Tina George; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Broussard and sisters, Rella Gardiner, Teresa Krout and Juanita Soape.

We are very thankful to the Lord for her doctors, nurses and Altus Hospice for all their kind help in our time of need and the special care given by her dear son Gene Fields.

With much appreciation to all, condolences may be sent to the families of Audrey's six children and her siblings.
