America’s most beloved animal expert, Jack Hanna, returns to the Lutcher bringing his two-time Emmy Award winning television series to the live stage with Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live Friday, Feb. 27, at 7:00 pm. In this awe-inspiring event, Jungle Jack will introduce you to some of the world’s most spectacular animals. Jack will also share humorous stories and amazing exclusive footage from his worldwide adventures. From the jungles of Rwanda to the savannas of Australia, Jack has explored the corners of the globe as one of the most visible and respected animal ambassadors. Many have seen his countless appearances on David Letterman, Good Morning America and so many more  – now Lutcher patrons can enjoy Jungle Jack’s infectious energy as he takes them “into the wild!” to see some of the world’s most fascinating animals, live.

Recognized around the country as America’s favorite zookeeper, this Emmy-Award winning TV host and lifelong animal advocate loves sharing his knowledge and passion for animals. As the director emeritus of the famed Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Jack’s stories range from brushing a hippo’s teeth to eating with wombats!

Jungle Jack took to the airwaves by creating two of his own nationally syndicated television programs Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures and most recently Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild. Into the Wild is unscripted and action-packed as Jack and his family explore the corners of the globe and discover amazing animals and cultures. In its first season, Into the Wild won an Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Series.

Jungle Jack’s live show features many of his favorite animal friends, as well as fascinating and humorous stories and footage from his adventures around the world. Audiences give Jack rave reviews – everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult is entertained and inspired.

Additionally, the Stark Museum of Art educators invite children attending the show to participate in a special workshop, Wild About Sketching, before Jack Hanna’s performance to learn how to sketch some of the animals seen in the show. Participants will then use the skills to create their own edible cookie masterpieces.
