Texas Most Wanted Sex offender turns himself in

Carlos Lopez Isaac, 59, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after turning himself in Feb. 16. Isaac was wanted for parole violation and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Isaac was taken into custody by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in San Antonio after turning himself in to authorities. The arrest was not the result of a tip, and no reward will be paid. Isaac’s criminal history includes sexual assault, assault on a peace officer and multiple drug charges. So far in 2015, DPS and other agencies have arrested six Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, and $10,500 in rewards has been paid for tips that resulted in arrests. The cash rewards are funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
