W. W. “ Butch “ Wallace, 73, of San Augustine, formerly of Orange, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Colonial Pines Health Care Center in San Augustine. Born July 10, 1941 in Orange, to James “ Buck “ Wallace and Fannie Marie (Brown) Wallace, he had lived in San Augustine since 2000. He worked as a pipefitter in the construction industry and he was of the Christian faith. Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing and the gardening of vegetables.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jimmy Dale Wallace.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Pat Wallace of San Augustine; sons, Tim Wallace of Orange and David Wallace of Pascagoula, Mississippi; daughter, Lisa Bradford and husband, Jim of Richmond; brother, Lynn Wallace of Orange; five grandchildren, Randi Wallace, Kelli Wallace, Olivia Bradford, Parker Bradford and Noah Wallace. Butch is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and members of his extended family.

Services to remember and honor Butch’s life will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 2, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother John Fortenberry. Rite of committal and interment will follow services at the Wilkinson Cemetery in Little Cypress.

A gathering of Butch’s family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Honoring Butch as pallbearers are Leon Wallace, Robin Wallace, Walter Laughlin, Prentice " P. R. " Norwood, Vick Slack and J. T. Richard.
