Orange police have charged 20-year-old Tyler Wayne Hodgkinson with intoxication manslaughter after a fatal wreck early Sunday morning.

At about 4:45 a.m. police were called to Hwy. 87 at MLK Dr. where a collision had just happened. When officers arrived, they found Bret Allen Gentzler, of Orange County, dead at the scene. As officers investigated the accident between a gray 2009 GMC pick-up and a yellow 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, they determined that Hodgkinson was intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the Orange County jail.

Hodgkinson was released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
