The National Weather Service is expecting a warm Friday, with increasing rain chances late Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, with the highest risk area locally being in east Texas and central Louisiana. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats.

Saturday will be cool, and Sunday will be cool as well, although there will be a few showers and thunderstorms on Easter.
