Monday, April 6, at 5:58 pm, officers with the Orange Police Department where dispatched to the 3900 block of N. Lutcher in reference to a traffic accident. After the investigation, it was determined that a gold 2002 Toyota Highlander was traveling west bound when it left the roadway causing the vehicle to flip and the driver, 56 year old Ricky Louis Manuel of Orange, to be ejected. Manuel was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is currently unknown what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. This incident is still under investigation by the detective division of the Orange Police Department.
