Christine "Chris" Marie Stone, 88, of Port Arthur died Monday, May 25, at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home in Port Arthur.

Chris was a past matron of the order of the Eastern Stars Lakside Port Arthur. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Orangefield.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 27, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Chris is survived by her daughter, Donna Sadler and her husband Larry of Orangefield; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
