Monday, June 22, at about 8:00 p.m., an Orange County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant in the 4200 block of Darlene St., Orangefield, in reference to recovery of stolen property. The complainant, who resides in the City of Orange, told the Sheriff’s Deputy that he had two motorcycles stolen from him sometime Sunday night, June 21. He filed a police report with the police department once he discovered the motorcycles missing.

The complainant managed to get information on a possible location of his stolen motorcycles and went to the area on Darlene St. When he arrived, he observed his two motorcycles behind a residence and that’s when he contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Deputy made contact with two suspects at the residence and was able to verify with the vehicle identification numbers that the two motorcycles were stolen and belonged to the complainant. The Deputy returned the two motorcycles to the owner and arrested the two suspects at the residence for possession of stolen property.

The suspects were identified as 44 year old Ely Carraway of Orangefield and 43 year old Shelia Suire of Bridge City. Both were booked into the Orange County Jail and a bond of $10,000 was set on each of them. They both remain in custody at this time.
