Lee Dula, Public and Government Affairs Manager at ExxonMobil, presented The Lamar Institute of Technology Foundation Board of Directors a check for $39,000 on Thursday.

LIT President, Dr. Paul Szuch, stated, “This contribution will make a tremendous difference for those high school students wanting to accelerate their postsecondary degree education and receive credits toward their high school graduation as well.”

These funds will provide scholarships for students that pursue Associate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics-related programs. In addition, the funding will pay tuition for 60 BISD students to enroll as dual enrollment students in the Process Technology Program.
