Delia May Mitchell, 88, of Orange, passed away July 20, at her daughter’s home in Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be the Rev. Sinclair Oubre.

A graveside service and burial will follow at 1:30 pm, at Cedar Crest Cemetery in Baytown.

Born in Walsall, England, on July 25, 1926, she was the daughter of William Thomas Edwards and May Wilkes Edwards. Delia was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and her dog Ralph.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Mitchell, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Diana Craft and husband Alonzo and son Ken Mitchell and wife Charlotte; grandchildren, Alonzo K Craft, Jr. and wife Marnie, Kate Tabone and husband George, Andrew Mitchell Craft, Mackenzie Mitchell and Alexis Mitchell and her great-granddaughter, Amanda Tabone.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Craft, Lon K. Craft, Grant Craft, Tristan McKnight and George Tabone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund at 4300 Meeks Dr., Orange, TX 77630.
