OPD searching for armed robbers

Two men robbed Crawdad's in Orange at gunpoint Thursday night at about 8:30 pm. According to the police department, one of the robbers struck the clerk in the head and knocked him over at the store in the 4000 block of IH-10 W. The robbers took an undetermined amount of money out of the cash register then fled the store on foot before getting into an older model four-door Buick.

The two men were described as black men with one wearing all black clothing and a yellow mask covering his face. The other man was dressed in red with a red mask over his face.

According to Orange Police Capt. Hargrave, the same store was robbed on June 8. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Orange Police Department at 883-1026.
