Marshall Peveto, 76, of Mauriceville, passed away Aug. 7, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m., Monday, Aug. 10, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be John Fortenberry of Calvary Baptist Church in Deweyville. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Nov. 16, 1938, he was the son of Herbert Thomas Peveto and Ruby Areta (Stark) Peveto. Marshall was a lifetime member of Pipefitters Local # 195.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Reta Peveto and sister, Frankie Cole.
He is survived by his children, Carolyn O’Quin, Cathy Beecher, Carl Cherry, Herbie Peveto, Robbie Peveto, David Cherry, Tommy Peveto and Denise Carpenter; lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren and brother, Edward Peveto.
Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Rodriquez, Brian Burrows, Jeremy Langley, Ben Carpenter, Timmy Crumpler and Andrew Hunt.
