The National Foxhound Hall of Fame Cemetery located near Shelbyville, Texas. There are a total of 33 national champion foxhounds buried here from states as far away as Missouri and Florida.
This type of fox hunting was where the dogs were released to chase the fox, but not to catch and kill it. Due to the loss of large tracts of forested land, this old East Texas sport is largely a thing of the past.
