WOS Stallions gallop over Silsbee Tigers

The Stallions hosted Silsbee Tuesday night and finished the night 3-0. The combined B team shutout the Tigers by a score of 22-0. Kaiden Berry and Armani Wallace lead the offense with Berry scoring two TD's and a two-point conversion and Wallace adding another TD and conversion. The Defense was lead by Iverson Godfrey, Wallace with an interception and Javan Renfro with a fumble recovery.

In the 7A game the Stallions won by a score of 30-6. Jerren Terrell connected on a pass to Jasachin Harris for the first touchdown followed by Andre Thomas and Kylan Cooper each with a rushing TD. Terrel was successful on two conversions and Cooper added a third. Defensive standouts were Jacob Dominguez, Jerrold Brown and Floyd Mouton. Thomas recovered a fumble and returned it all the way for a touchdown and Patrick Mickey had a big interception.

The 8A game started out with Keontae Strother returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown and Wilbert Ned scoring on the two point conversion.

The Tigers would tie the game and go into half time tied at 8.

The second half was a different story as Terry Harris and Hykiem Taylor got the Stallions going with a safety early in the 3rd.

The offensive line of Shemar Manaway, Jordan Lister, Willy Reynolds, Paulino Santos and Jordan Garrett got things going in the second half opening up huge holes for Wilbert Ned to score on two rushing touchdowns and one conversion.

Tyrone Wilson added the third conversion.

Steven Wilkerson and Devon Thornton caused havoc in the backfield for the Tigers and Wilson picked off a pass late in the 4th quarter to seal the deal.

The Stallions will travel to Hamshire-Fannett next Thursday with kickoff at 5:00.
