There will be a benefit for Sherryl Smith of Deweyville at the Orange Walmart parking lot, Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 am-until. There will be karaoke entertainment by Harmony Sound Service and the Eagle Riders will participate in the event. There will also be a link and boudain sale.

Sherryl, who is the victim of a stroke, and her husband Ralph are members of the Eagles and Eagle Riders of Orange. She is in need of health care and medications to prevent blood clots from traveling to her heart and lungs.

All proceeds will benefit Smith's ongoing health care costs and personal needs.
