St. Mary students pray for harvest

Last updated 10/19/2015 at Noon

St. Mary Catholic School third graders were doing a lesson that involved planting and harvesting cabbage plants. Their teacher, Mrs. Leisa Miller, noticed silence as she was giving her lesson outside and noticed a beautiful scene. Her students gathered around the statue of the blessed mother Mary and knelt to say prayers on their own without guidance from an a adult. This gathering of prayers is one illustration of what St. Mary Catholic School instills in our students.
