Just a reminder.

This year's roastee for the 9th Celebrity Roast sponsored by the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will honor Mayor Kirk Roccaforte with a hurricane theme. The roast starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 in the Bridge City Community Center, 105 Parkside.

Roasters will be former County Judge Carl Thibodeaux, District Judge Don Burgess, former mayor and Lamar State College-Orange Dean Bobbie Burgess, former Councilman Kevin Mott, and David Ess. The invocation will be the Rev. Jack Comer of Circle Drive Baptist Church and the Master of Ceremonies is Mike Hatton.

Roccaforte is a veteran of a few hurricanes and served as either a city councilman or as mayor when the storms hit.

A reserved sponsored table for eight people is $450. All table sponsors will receive preferred seating and be listed on the program, place mat and PowerPoint presentation.

Sponsors should email their business logo to [email protected]. General admission tickets are $50 per person.
