105 Tollway resolution on commissioners’ agenda

A possible tollway connecting Beaumont to Orange County will be on the Orange County Commissioners Court agenda when they meet at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27 in the Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Orange County Administration Building, 123 South 6th St. in Orange.
The commissioners will consider the following agenda items:
The discussion and possible action for commissioners court to issue a resolution regarding a new public-private tollway extending 10 miles from the intersection of State Highway 105 and US Highway 96/69 in Beaumont eastward to FM 105 and Interstate 10 in Vidor including the installation of a new elevated crossing over the Neches River , known as the “105 Tollway.”
Discussion and possible action regarding the Orange County Sheriff’s Office patrol car fleet for the remainder of 2015-2016 fiscal year.
Discussion and possible action regarding Parkwood Land Company requesting commissioners court to take action to implement Section B, #10 of the Orange County Flood Damage Prevention Order.
Discussion and possible action regarding commissioners court casting their votes for five members of the Orange County Appraisal District Board of Directors for the term of January 1, 2016 thru December 31, 2017. The candidates are Hughie J. Allen, Tim Andrews, Laura Floyd, Lynda Gunstream, Tim Schossow, and John Zerko.
Discussion and possible action regarding the placement of stop signs at the intersection of Jasper Street and Jefferson Street in Precinct Four.
