The Record Newspapers - Hometown News For Orange County, Texas

Thursday evening at about 9:10 pm, Orange County Sheriff's Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Florence in Vidor in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 48 year old Steven Coutee of Vidor dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The person responsible for the shooting was till on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges or arrests have been made at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available
