Lamar University men’s and women’s basketball individual tickets are on sale through the LU Ticket Office beginning Monday at 8 a.m. Basketball season and group tickets are also available.

Individual tickets start as low as $5 for women’s games, and $8 for the men. Fans can purchase Southland Conference doubleheader tickets for as low as $8 for general admission seating up to $13 for side court seats. Season tickets are also available for both the LU men’s and women’s teams. Season tickets start at $63 for women, and $128 for the LU men.

Group tickets (15 or more) start at $3 per person for women’s games. End court seats are $3, and side court seats are $5 per person. General admission group seating for men’s games starts at $5 and ranges up to $10 for side court seating. End court group seating will be $7.

Fans can purchase individual and season tickets online, by phone or in person. Group tickets can only be purchased in person at the LU Ticket Office located in the west end of the Montagne Center.

The LU men enter the 2015-16 season coming off one of the best single-season turnarounds in the nation. After winning only seven games in the two previous seasons combined, head coach Tic Price guided LU to a 15-15 season in his first full year with the program. LU enters the year picked fifth in the preseason polls.

The women’s team is expected to return the top of the SLC standings in 2015-16. LU received five first-place votes from both the league head coaches and media relations directors and were picked first in both polls. LU will be led by preseason first-team All-Southland selection JaMeisha Edwards who is coming off a 2014-15 campaign that saw her average 16 points per game.
