The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce named Michelle Evans, morning manager of Sonic in Bridge City, Employee of the Month for November. Michelle was presented her award, sponsored by Sabine River Ford, by chamber board member and ambassador Scot C. Shaffer at the November Networking Coffee hosted by Bridge City Bank. Michelle received gifts and gift certificates from several local businesses.

Cil Dixon, Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director of Bridge City ISD, said “She goes above and beyond her job description. If there has ever been an issue with my order she has always made it right. If you're short a few cents she'll dig it out of her own pocket to help you out. Most of all I've NEVER been there in the morning when she didn't greet me with a smile and a kind word.”
