The annual Christmas Bird Count in Orange Count will be conducted on Jan. 1. This count includes much of Orange County between Orange and the Neches River including Bessie Heights and the Old River Unit. Participants will meet at the Country Store gas station at the intersection of FM 1442 and FM 105 in Orangefield at 7:00 a.m..
