Three LCM students recently received medals for art submitted to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Best of Show winner was Sundas Imtiaz and Gold Medalists were Brooke Tant and Veronica Ibarra.

Eight Little Cypress-Mauriceville art students of Betsy Kaufman submitted paintings for the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Contest recently. Of the submissions, three seniors received medals for their work.

 Sundas Imtiaz took best of show for her painting, “Boot Scootin’.” Brooke Tant and Veronica Ibarra both won Gold Medals. Brooke’s painting is titled, “Bovine Beauty” and Veronica’s is “Desert Gabriel.”
