Season tickets for the 2016 Lamar University softball season at the recently completed LU Softball Complex are now available.

Individual-game tickets will go on sale Feb. 1. Season tickets in the reserved sections are $75 each. Adult general-admission season tickets are $60 apiece, while senior citizen and child general-admission season tickets are $40 apiece. The cost for adult reserved individual-game tickets is $7 apiece. Adult general admission tickets are $5 each, while senior citizen and child general-admission tickets are $3 each. Lamar University students receive free admission with a valid LU student ID.

The Cardinals open the home season by hosting the Cardinal Classic from Feb. 19-21. The 12-game, three-day event will feature Northern Colorado, Incarnate Word, Texas Southern and Alcorn State along with the host Cards.

LU has 10 other home dates this season, with four Southland Conference doubleheaders and four conference single games along with a non-conference doubleheader against Houston and a non-conference single game vs. UT Arlington.

The home season wraps up with a three-game Southland Conference series against McNeese State on April 29-30 as the Cowgirls make their first visit to Beaumont since LU revived its softball program in 2013.

The Cardinals come off their most successful season since reviving softball at LU in 2013. The Cards were 26-28 overall in 2015, including a 14-10 mark in conference play. They capped it off with a third-place finish at the Southland Conference Tournament.

On game days, tickets may be purchased at the LU Softball Complex one hour prior to first pitch.
