Hamfest to be held at Expo Center

The Orange Amateur Radio Club and the Jefferson Radio Club will be hosting their annual Hamfest, Saturday, Feb. 27.
The event will be held at the Orange County Convention Expo Center located at 11475 FM 1442 in Orange. Doors opens at 6:30 and the event will run until 2:30 pm.
Door prizes will be given away all day. Entry fee is $8, with kids under 12 years free. Door prize tickets are $1 each, or six for $5, 12 for $10, etc. Grand prize will be drawn at 1:30 pm. You need not to be present to win.
The event consists of buying, selling or trading radio equipment along with other communication equipment. There will be forums available to attend including a Skywarn class from the National Weather Service, ARRL, Texas Traffic System and Radio Control Aircraft.
