Lady Bear golfers take second at Anahuac tournament

The Lady Bear golf team finished second at the Anahuac girls golf tournament, played at Chambers County golf course.
Lauren Cox won individual honors with a career low of 71; Kacie Nichols shot 102; Teresa Beckett shot a career best 102; Jessica McLain shot a career best 110 and Marlee Bird shot a 142.
Port Neches-Groves girls won the tournament.
