The National Weather Service is expecting cool, dry weather through the weekend. Rain chances return to the forecast on Monday, but the best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be late Tuesday into early Wednesday thanks to a cold front passage. Over an inch of rain can be expected. Some storms could be strong to severe.

Along the coast, tides will run above normal Sunday through Tuesday, and turn below normal for Wednesday and Thursday.
